The Mission of the club is to enable the personal and career development of women in business by laying the foundations for a powerful network of female business leaders .
NUS MBA Womens' Club has partnered with Aidha and XSProject to create a business plan competition targeted at creating real businesses with <$5K and increasing Global Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability.
Aidha has also opened their doors to receive NUS MBA students to provide real consulting for the creation of businesses.
Activities: The various activities of the club in line with its objectives include ;
Further the cause of social responsibility by ;
- Profiling companies doing the right thing.
- Organizing field trips and other social work events.
- Creating and maintaining an ongoing relationship with selected NGOs.
Build a strong network for Women in Business by;
- Profiling successful business women in Singapore (NUS Alumni and other prominent personalities) and other women entrepreneurs
- Organizing talks on relevant soft or professional skills
Address modern day gender issues through;
- Workshops for Women
- Exchange of gender (both male and female) problems at work
