Dear Prospective MBA Applicant
Well, we have already started on the
first few rounds of interviews - for the PT MBA Jan 07 Intake, that
is. We have also started interviewing a few candidates in China and
Thailand....and would be moving on to the rest of the world soon. If
you are in another country and your application is complete, we would
be calling you up in Jan / Feb to arrange for an interview by phone if
you aren't in Singapore or face to face if you are here in this small
rainforest paradise with us.
This month's e-newsletter will
highlight a few B-School rankings that are worth looking at ;-) No
surprise why the NUS MBA remains one of the most consistently ranked
Top MBAs across the Asia Pacific!
The NUS MBA programme has been rated
first in Asia Pacific and the most preferred school to recruit from
ahead of other reputable schools in the region, by
QS, the
world¨s top MBA recruitment
fair organiser,
in its 2006
survey of global recruiters.
(Please see table below)
The 455 companies from
33 countries which participated in the survey, also considered NUS MBA
Program¨s specializations in
International Management and Finance to be among the world¨s top 50.
QS is the world¨s leading network for
top careers and education, and links undergraduate, graduate, MBA and
executive communities around the world with recruiters and education
providers.
This 2006 research from QS provides
the definitive list of business schools currently preferred by the
most international recruiters. Human resources managers and recruiters
worldwide were surveyed. The results provide an insight into the value
of MBAs offered in business schools around the world, especially given
that most MBA students take the qualification to enhance their
careers.
The research is intended to be of
interest and use to the internationally mobile MBA recruiter and
applicant and all individuals and institutions worldwide interested in
international business education and recruitment trends.
This latest rating that
NUS Business School garnered comes in the wake of the 2006 Financial
Times (FT) rankings of the NUS Executive MBA (EMBA) and MBA Programs
as among the world¨s top 29 and 100, respectively. In the FT
rankings, NUS was rated fourth for international experience in its
Asia Pacific EMBA Programs, and fifth for international mobility in
its MBA Programs
